8 hours of holiday pay at regular rate and hours worked on holidays are paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay (included in overtime calculation)

Work Performed on Holidays (Holiday Premium):

All hours worked on a holiday are paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Hours worked on holidays are included in weekly overtime calculations. When No Work Performed (Holiday Pay): When an employee is given a day off for a holiday, the hours that they normally would have worked (8 hours) are paid out. These hours are excluded in overtime calculation.
