Work Performed on Holidays (Holiday Premium):

All hours worked on a holiday are paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Hours worked on holidays are included in weekly overtime calculations. When No Work Performed (Holiday Pay): When an employee is given a day off for a holiday, the hours that they normally would have worked (8 hours) are paid out. These hours are excluded in overtime calculation.
